What is Access Bars®?

The Access Bars® is a gentle hands-on method that was first developed by author and speaker Gary M. Douglas in the 1991. The Access Bars® are 32 points on your head that, when gently touched, effortlessly and easily release the thoughts, ideas, beliefs, emotions, and considerations that stop you from creating a life you love. 

 

Access Bars® can feel like hitting the delete button on your computer’s cluttered hard drive – only this time, you’re creating space in your brain. Things like negative thought patterns, or that endless mental chatter keeping you awake at night, can be released and make space for the calm you’ve been seeking.

The brain waves actually slow down when you get your Bars run allowing behavioural patterns, belief systems and points of view that you have been running from childhood to be accessed. You actually start to become more present in your life and the past doesn't project into your future the same way. By getting your Bars run you are literally changing the probabilities of future possibilities. 

 

Each Bars session can release years of limitations in the area of your life that corresponds with the specific Bar being touched, activating the body's innate ability to self-heal.

 

People who have had their Bars run frequently say that it has created a more peaceful mind, increased relaxation, improved outlook on life, stress relief, a space to replenish your body, increased energy and creativity. Is Access Bars® Safe? 

The Bars are extremely safe as it`s non-invasive and doesn`t pose any adverse events. It can even be used on anyone with a pacemaker. Our bodies know what they require. If you have a pacemaker that is contributing to your body, the Bars will not turn it off. The Bars can also be beneficial to children as they look at the world differently than adults and are much more willing to let go of their self-limitations. This helps them to have improvements in academics and relationships with parents and friends. In addition, children with past emotional problems or with divorced parents can start taking control of their lives.

 

Anyone can benefit from it regardless of their age, gender or health condition, especially those who suffer from mental and emotional issues. 

What   Happens    During    An  Access   Bars Session?

During an Access Bars session, a practitioner gently touches these points on your head, as you lie down fully clothed, in a comfortable position. Usually a Bars session can last 60-90 minutes, although this can vary and depends on how much you want to release and also receive. Once you have your Bars done, the Bars “run” or continue to release stuck energy forever. Every time you have it done after that, the effect becomes more dynamic.  The most dramatic effects tend to be noticed after 3 to 4 weekly sessions. 

What will I feel Like After The Session? 

Everyone who has their Bars run experiences different changes. At worst, you will feel like you have just had the best massage of your life. At best, your whole life can change into something greater with total ease, joy and glory.

Is  There Proof That It Works? 

Absolutely! There has been many studies over the years on the effect of running someone`s Bars. Neuroscientist Dr Jeffery L Fannin in 2015 also discovered that Access Bars® has a positive neurological effect. Similar to those experienced by advanced meditators – and it produces these results immediately. Check out these videos:

In a study conducted by Dr. Terrie Hope PhD, DNM, CFMW in 2017, four scientifically valid questionnaires and brain wave pattern using brain mapping were used. She discovered that Access Bar® reduced the severity of anxiety symptoms by 84.7% and severity of depression symptoms by 82.7%. 

Dr. Lisa Cooney who is a world renowned authority on thriving after trauma, became very interested in Access Bars® and looked at the method from a physiological perspective using thermometry, which is the science that looks at temperature measurement. Dr. Cooney conducted a variety of case studies, comparing before Bars and after Bars tests. Reports showed a decreased level of anxiety and pain, and an increased level of clarity and relaxation. Thermometry is a breakthrough in biological medicine. The results are clinically proven to identify factors that can contribute to detection of disease often years before diagnosis.
